Squibs that live in the ocean and other salty waters. They are the wildest type and often come in very colorful variations, because of this, in captivity they are more commonly observed in aquariums. With their vibrancy, they often compete for territory with dances, but due to their more aggressive nature fights are also commonly seen. Despite this, they are social creatures and will often gather with groups of squibs, forming big communities and helping each other to survive in the wild. These squibs have a salt gland that helps them regulate their salt intake by allowing them to excrete salt.

These squibs live mostly in lakes, rivers and ponds, preferring cooler settings. Their colors are usually more muted, with flatter tails, shorter fins and webbing in their feet. They are calm and rather friendly, making them the perfect companion or pet for many creatures. Because of this, they may be found in fancy houses as the pampered pet or as the emotional support companion for people who need them. In the wild, these squibs are more kept to themselves, living mostly alone, however, they may form small groups of squibs, creating small town like environments and trading with each other. You may often see them laying around sleeping and basking in the sun. Their chillness often scares others, as they are seen having no fear when around dangerous animals or creatures, and it is often questioned how they do not harm these squibs, perhaps, they really are just that chill. Some of these squibs have a peculiar ability, being able to create snorkel-like bubbles to help them breathe underwater. They tend to travel via floating off to wherever destiny takes them, their inflatable neck and disc like bodies make this task quite easy, people sometimes mistake them for little boats.

Tiny squibs with multiple bodies, or multiple soul bound twins. Consisting commonly of 4 bodies or siblings, these squibs have survived through pure team effort, whether with themselves or different brains. Even if they are different squibs, they will still share a hive mind that allows them to communicate better with one another. Croakers usually allow them to find the other parts too in case they get lost when called to get together, speaking of which, they can all unite into a bigger body when threatened, although this takes a lot of their energy which makes this form hard to maintain. They don't usually have to do that though, as they are normally smaller than a tennis ball or the palm of your hand, making escapes easier to accomplish. This size also allows them to live in places like inside trees, inside small corals, small holes in rocks in the ocean, and sometimes even inside some animal's mouths, helping them in a type of symbiotic relationship. Squibble have mastered perfect magical skills, which has made some people mistake them with fairies in the case of winged squibbles.

Extreme fluff is usually more common on them, resulting in little fluff balls that help with camouflage.
